We prioritize the safety and well-being of our animals above all else, which is why we do not permit visitors to our kennel or offer tours. This policy is in place to maintain strict biosecurity measures.
Biosecurity encompasses a range of practices and protocols aimed at safeguarding animals, property, and individuals from various threats, including infectious diseases, pests, contaminants, and disasters. Our stringent procedures are designed to mitigate the risk of introducing disease agents into our kennel (external biosecurity) and to prevent the spread of such agents within our facility (internal biosecurity).
We provide bitch owners with the option of utilizing our chilled semen breeding service, where chemically chilled semen is shipped to a veterinarian of your choice for breeding. This method offers several advantages, including reduced travel costs and stress for dogs, as well as the ability for breeders to have one of our stud dog's semen shipped anywhere in the world.
Alternatively, for those who prefer a live breeding option, we offer artificial insemination* conducted by our veterinarian. We do not facilitate live covers on bitches not owned by Live Wire Kennels, LLC, even if the bitch has tested negative for brucellosis.
Collection of the semen, shipping of the semen, and associated veterinary costs are at the cost of the bitch owner, unless specified otherwise.
Unless specifically advertised, we DO NOT sell frozen semen or puppies born from frozen semen of deceased dogs. We may occassionally offer frozen semen from living dogs or puppies born from a breeding.
*Artificial insemination involves the process of introducing dog semen into the vagina or cervix of a female dog to initiate pregnancy.
As a proud member of the International Society for Animal Genetics (ISAG), we consider it our responsibility to conduct thorough genetic screening using scientifically validated tests for disease predispositions and traits specific to the American Pit Bull Terrier. Each dog has its own DNA profile, which is certified, as they are obtained by veterinarians.
At Live Wire Kennels, LLC, we do not collect DNA samples from our own dogs. This approach enables us to readily verify parentage upon request, offering customers confidence in their breeding choices. In essence, DNA is not only used for identification purposes but, more importantly, it is utilized to prioritize the improvement of breed health, one generation at a time.

Our contracts and guarantees are exclusive to the original purchaser and are not transferable to another owner. There is a distinct contract and guarantee for each dog or breeding service, tailored to its individual circumstances.
Likewise, we do not assume responsibility for any offspring resulting from the dogs or puppies we sell. Our guarantee and warranty extend solely to the puppies, dogs, and breeding services purchased directly from us.
Should the owner decide to sub-lease their dog for breeding purposes, etc., it is important to note that LWK, LLC assumes no responsibility for any business transactions conducted between the original purchaser and secondary parties or purchasers.
Our puppies are raised in our home and receive daily socialization with people and other dogs.
Our puppies are fed a high-quality, grain-free puppy food as well as the Canine Nutrition International supplement Nurture.
Our puppy prices are generally $1500 and up; however, prices are set depending upon the sire/dam of each litter.
At the heart of our puppy pricing is a firm dedication to upholding the breed standards of the American Pit Bull Terrier breed. We strive to ensure that each puppy meets the criteria set by kennel clubs and breed associations.
Achieving and maintaining these standards requires meticulous care—it involves health examinations, genetic testing, and veterinary attention. While these steps are essential, they incur additional expenses. Good breeders invest considerable time, money, and effort into the health and well-being of both parents and their offspring. This commitment to quality is reflected in the pricing of our puppies.
We refuse to compromise on quality, and therefore, we do not compromise on our prices.
We do not offer payment plans; however, we can recommend places where you can apply for loans. Good credit, bad credit, or if you just need a little time, we understand and recognize that unforeseen circumstances can arise. Most individuals genuinely intend to fulfill their financial obligations. However, we acknowledge that situations may not always unfold as planned. As we are not in the banking business, we lack the capacity and resources to pursue individuals for overdue payments. Therefore, we entrust the responsibility of financial management to professionals who specialize in such matters.
Please feel free to reach out to one of these professional institutions, or another of your choice, but full payment is due at the time of sale and/or services rendered.
On occasion we will offer a dogs at a discounted price; however, these dogs do not come with ADBA registration paperwork and have a special contract and may come with a breeding restriction.
We do not offer Military or Senior discounts.

Before the breeding services are conducted, an estimate will be provided, and payments for these services are made directly to the veterinarian. It's important to complete all sales transactions before picking up a puppy or receiving any services.
We welcome non-refundable puppy deposits to secure a place in line for the public selection of a male or female puppy. While we understand your preference for a specific gender, we cannot guarantee the availability of a male or female puppy in a particular litter. If the breeding does not occur, the bitch forfeits the litter, or a puppy is unavailable, your deposit can be transferred to a breeding of similar quality, or you can opt to receive a credit toward a breeding service.
All deposits are organized based on the sequence in which they are received, determining the selection order.
*Public selection, which takes place after we have made our initial selections, typically occurs around week 6. You can choose your puppy between weeks 6-8 during this public selection period.
We kindly ask for your understanding that our kennel is an integral part of our home. As such, we are unable to accommodate visits from strangers to ensure the privacy and safety of our family and dogs, and to safeguard against potential risks such as puppy theft and to maintain biosecurity measures.
Still, we strive to provide ample visual content, including photos and videos, of our dogs. Additionally, we offer the opportunity for live video calls to observe our dogs in real-time. Should you require more images or videos, we are happy to provide them. Nevertheless, please note that we do not allow on-site visitations.
We do not provide refunds as the decision to purchase, adopt, and care for a living pet/companion is a commitment. We prioritize informed decisions over impulse purchases and encourage thoughtful consideration before making a choice.
In the event that your puppy falls ill and is diagnosed with a pre-existing condition, we encourage you to reach out to us. However, we advise referring to your contract to understand LWK, LLC's responsibilities. We are dedicated to collaborating with pet parents who are fully prepared to care for their companions.

No. Prices are dependent upon the sire/dam.
